I’ve had the pleasure of photographing sweet B’s family for quite sometime now. So when Mom asked me to help her plan an outdoor cake smash session for his first birthday I was so excited. This little guy and his brother always come ready to giggle and have fun! We came up with an adorable little theme and I went to work pulling together props. After a quick chat about cakes and outfits mom did the best job finding the perfect matches to pull together all the details. I was so excited to put it all together. 

It’s always fun to see how one year olds act during their first birthday session. Part of the fun for me is catching those little glimpses of their personality. Some are more cautious and reserved while others are busy and on the go! Either way they are sweet as can be! Mr. B definitely brought the magic, he played, laughed, and when it was time for the cake… well, he dug right in! 

I am so blessed to get to capture so many sweet first birthday sessions, but I don’t always get the opportunity to share them. I couldn’t help but highlight this little guy today!
