This summer studio session was everything we dreamed of and more. Most importantly we were able to stay out of the heat. In addition we could schedule at the most convenient time of day for them! I love how genuine and full of love their portraits turned out. In many ways, summer is a great time to have a session. It’s the time of year that we are free of the stressors of the school weeks or the often intense weekend sports schedules. But, I’ll admit that scheduling during the heat of a Florida summer is just slightly intimidating, even at sunset. But, can studio sessions be lifestyle and feel less posed?

Studio sessions don’t have to be stiff and awkward. We can still snuggle and play many of the same games in studio that we do outdoors. There is no need to worry that we won’t be able to capture sweet natural moments. Relax and leave that part to me while you enjoy the freedom of less constrained scheduling and cool air. While the summer is winding down, we know Florida will still have a good number of toasty weeks left in store for us.
