I am so excited to have you and your family join me for Holiday Minis this year! If you haven’t already booked a session, head over to check out this year’s Christmas Minis now. Once you have grabbed a spot, here are some FAQ’s and basic info to help make sure you are ready to go!

When should we arrive?

Mini sessions are very time sensitive since we book them back-to-back with other families. This is done in order to get as many families in for sessions each season. If you arrive late, that cuts into the time of your session and that can be super stressful for everyone. We want your session to be relaxed and fun and to be sure we capture as many sweet moments together as possible.

What should we wear?

Bring layers, you never know what to expect with our crazy Florida weather. I have Christmas sessions where we are bundled up and others where I am sweating like crazy by the end of the day. To be sure you are ready for whatever weather is throw our way, it helps to plan your session with layers that can be added and removed. Layers also add texture to sessions and look awesome. I always try to send some styling tips your way for Christmas Minis so take a look at that and reach out with questions at any time. Generally you want to be coordinating but not overly “matchy”. Patterns are fine but avoid too many different busy patterns. Choose clothes that you feel comfortable and confident in!

What happens after our session?

Once your session is over I will get to editing your images. During holiday busy season I do my very best to stay on top of editing but will complete edits in the order that they are taken. I do not take rush requests because I know everyone is in a hurry this time of year. The link to your edited images will be in your email inbox 2-3 weeks after your session. Your mini session will come with a set number of digitally downloaded. You get to choose your favorite images for download from your gallery of 15 total images.

Can I purchase additional photos?

Yes! If you would like more than the included number of images, you may purchase them before downloading. You may add additional images individually or choose to upgrade your session and get them all at a discounted rate.

What is someone is sick?

If something happens beyond your control and you need to adjust your session date, please let me know as soon as possible. The fall season is super tight with bookings but I will make every effort to swap you with another family, open something similar up for you, and fill your spot if possible.

Tips to help your session go smoothly:

• Make sure your family is fed and well-rested (consider nap times). No one wants to play in front of a camera if they are starving or overly sleepy!
• Consider small treats for children if that works for your kids. During the session some kids get excited about things like baby puffs, gummies, smarties, etc. For other kids they are a big distraction. You know your family so feel free to bring them if you think they might be helpful. (I may also have some fun treats to share at the end of your session!)
• Relax! Have fun! I love photographing children from the extremely playful to the super shy. I am not stressed out by the way they are during the session and I definitely don’t want you to be either. Just know my favorite thing to photograph is them having fun or your family being silly together!
